DETROIT, MICHIGAN, USA & SANTA COLOMA, ANDORRA (July 22, 2022)  Gold Star Sports Management Group, through its Soccer Division, completed the acquisition of FC Santa Coloma – the winningest club in the history of Andorra with thirteen UEFA Champions League appearances. In addition to the European acquisition – the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) granted an expansion team in Metro Detroit to the Gold Star Football Club. Gold Star Detroit FC is expected to kickoff in 2023.

Dan Milstein, the Chairman of Gold Star Sports Management announced the appointment of Annabel Llevot as the General Manager of FC Santa Coloma. “Over the last nine years, Annabel has served in various positions within the club. In this role, she will be overseeing all major sporting and business operations of FC Santa Coloma.”

Dan Milstein is joined by Gold Star Football Club CEO Alex Lubyansky, to announce the hiring of Dmitri Cheryshev as the head coach of FC Santa Coloma. “Coach Cheryshev has a successful track-record in various coaching roles at Real Madrid, Zenit St. Petersburg and as Unai Emery’s assistant at Sevilla – during which time the club won the UEFA Europa League.” Lubyansky adds, “Cheryshev scored 101 goals during a professional playing career spanning sixteen seasons with multiple clubs including Dynamo Moscow and Sporting Gijon.”
